Allen ISD announces that Larry Labue has been selected as the new Executive Director of School Leadership & Support.
The 2023-2024 school year marks Larry’s 24th year in education. He currently serves as the Executive Director for the STEAM Center. Before joining the STEAM Center, he served as the Director of Professional Learning and as the District K-12 Science Coordinator for Learner Services. Larry also has campus administration experience; he served as the Principal of both Richardson Heights Elementary and Merriman Park Elementary, as well as Assistant Principal at Aiken Elementary, all in Richardson ISD. He also taught first grade at Vincent Settlement Elementary School in Louisiana and fourth- and sixth-grade science at Merriman Park Elementary.
