Auditions for the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 25 High School Choirs were recently held where 55 Allen ISD choir students were selected to a TMEA Region 25 All-Region Choir. Additionally, 27 Allen ISD choir students advanced to the next round of TMEA All-State Competition.
Approximately 827 students from Allen ISD, Denison ISD, Lovejoy ISD, Melissa ISD, Plano ISD, Princeton ISD, Sherman ISD, and Wylie ISD began the audition process competing for 292 spots.
These students will join the other students in the region on Saturday November 4 to rehearse with a guest conductor/clinician and perform in a concert at 5 p.m. in the Allen HS Performing Arts Center.
The concert is free and open to the public.
